Learn About Food Safety at Your Own Pace

May 31, 2018 by Dan Chancellor Leave a Comment

What type of learner are you? Do you prefer pictures and images? Do you prefer working in groups or with other people? Do you interacting with your hands or sense of touch?

Or maybe you prefer to work alone and study at your own pace?

There is no right way to learn, and there are plenty of options for you to learn about food safety using your preferred method. If you like to study on your own, then National Registry’s Management Principles Self-Study Program is perfect for you.

You receive Food Safety Management Principles for Managers, which has been trusted by thousands of food managers around the country as their training of choice. This book concentrates on the basic principles of good practice. These are principles you must establish and maintain if you are to sell or prepare food that is safe to eat. The principles are the same for every food business, but exactly how you apply them depends on your particular establishment.

Included in the package is a voucher to take National Registry’s Certified Food Manager Examination at a Pearson VUE testing center. There are over 5,200 testing locations around the world, including many on military bases throughout the United States.

If you don’t have a full day to commit to an in-person course or just prefer to take your time as you study, then the Management Principles Self-Study Program is for you.

You should check with your local jurisdiction before using a self-study program as training requirements vary based on your location.
